I want to show you my city on foot. We have so many wonderful neighbourhoods to explore. We could also take public transit to cover more territory but most 2 or 3 hour ventures will encompass time in one neighbourhood.
I'll open your eyes to whatever strikes your fancy as it is city of many cultures from around the world. I've lived here most of my life yet I still discover new things on every walk!
We will start wherever you are staying and walk to see some of the highlights while discussing the history of Canada, and Toronto. We will talk about why Toronto is significant even though it is not the capital city of our huge country. We will discuss Toronto versus Montreal as they are somewhat competitive large cities.
Depending on which neighbourhoods you prefer to see we may have to take the subway (metro: we call it the "TTC" for Toronto Transit Commission) but we'll discuss that in our advance arrangements.
Although we have a gay neighbourhood, a lot of people have moved away to other neighbourhoods of the city since we have such an inclusive culture now. You can be gay anywhere!
I have been providing tours in Toronto and many other parts of Canada, North America and Europe since the 1980's, and have a background in aviation as well as logistics handling groups of people in foreign lands. Certified as a professional Tour Guide by the International Tour Management Institute in California. I look forward to meeting you.
