Istanbul - Taksim tour

Erkunde die elegante Istiklal-Straße mit ihren vielen Geschäften, Cafés und historischen Stätten, während du auf dieser Tour den Stadtteil Beyoglu entdeckst.
Wir beginnen unsere Tour mit einem Spaziergang durch die Istiklal Straße, eine der belebtesten Fußgängerzonen Istanbuls. Sie ist 1,6 km lang und ist mit Cafés, Konditoreien, Theatern, Einkaufszentren und Restaurants aller Art gespickt. Unser erster Halt ist das Französische Kulturinstitut, das die französische Kultur in die Istikal-Straße oder, wie sie vor einem Jahrhundert genannt wurde, in die Grande Rue de Pera" bringt.
Danach besuchen wir das Galatasaray-Gymnasium, das älteste Gymnasium im Osmanischen Reich. Sie wurde 1481 erbaut und erhielt den Namen "Galata Sarayı Enderun-u Hümayunu", was so viel wie "Kaiserliche Schule des Galata-Palastes" bedeutet. Als nächstes besuchen wir das Çiçek Pasajı, eines der ersten Theater im Osmanischen Reich, das heute eine Passage ist.
Wir gehen die Französische Straße hinunter, eine schöne Straße im französischen Stil, die von Büstenhaltern und Cafés bevölkert ist. Unser nächster Halt ist die Kirche Saint Antoine, die größte römisch-katholische Kirche in Istanbul. Unser nächster Halt ist die Krim-Gedächtniskirche, die 1858-68 von Sultan Abdulmecit zu Ehren der britischen Soldaten errichtet wurde, die auf osmanischer und französischer Seite am Krimkrieg teilnahmen. Von dort aus besuchen wir das Pera Palace Hotel, ein Museumshotel, das älteste europäische Hotel in Istanbul, das gebaut wurde, um Gäste zu beherbergen, die mit dem berühmten Orient Express reisten. Anschließend fahren wir mit dem "Tunnel", der zweitältesten unterirdischen Stadtbahnlinie der Welt.

Day one begins with a visit to the Hagia Sophia, a 6th-century Byzantine cathedral adorned in spectacular gold mosaics. From there, cover attractions like the ancient Basilica Cistern in the heritage district of Sultanahmet, and learn how the Blue Mosque got its nickname. We will also have time to explore the treasures of Topkapi Palace, once home to the Ottoman sultans and their famous harems. Then we will see the Theodosius Cistern, it's one of the most mysterious Byzantine cisterns in Istanbul. The cistern, which was recently restored and opened to visitors, is known locally as the Serefiye Sarnici. And we will head to the oldest covered market in the world 'Grand bazaar' . Covering an area of 54.653 square meters, it also still ranks as one of the worlds biggest covered markets. And we will finish our tour while drinking turkish coffee.

Istanbul - Ortaköy & Arnavutköy Tour

We start the tour from Besiktas and walking through one of the best walking ways in Istanbul. On the way to Ortakoy, Ciragan Palace will be shown from outside by telling traditional wedding rituals and learning late Ottoman architecture.
